Todd patiently awaits return to PGA Tour

Brendon Todd

Brendon Todd has always been one of the nice guys on the PGA TOUR. In good times or in bad — he’s experienced both — the University of Georgia standout has always been willing to help.

I was able to catch up with Todd recently for a story that appeared in the AJC. (Click here to read that story.) Brendon was at home and taking care of two of his young children; the third was at a doctor’s appointment. You could tell he was having a blast taking care of the kids.

I didn’t have room in the story to mention much about the 2005 UGA national championship team of which Todd was a part. That group included Kevin Kisner and Chris Kirk, who have both won on the PGA TOUR), David Denham and Richard Scott. It was a very talented group that had a great week at Caves Valley, Mary., and ran away with the school’s second national championship.
