Steady Spector captures Georgia PGA Girls Junior

Molly Spector, a rising junior at Holy Innocents’, won the 47th Georgia PGA Girls Junior Championship at The Chimneys Golf Course in Winder.

Spector shot rounds of 71-71-71 to finish at 3 under and earn a spot in the 2026 PGA Junior Championship at Fields Ranch East in Frisco, Texas, on July 28-31. She also earned a spot in the North American Championship at Streamsong in December.

Bailey Nam, 13, of Johns Creek, hot a final-round 66 and finished at 1 under to place second. She also earned a spot in the Junior PGA Championship.

Addison Peeples of Gainesville was solo third at 3-over 219. Madison Woodrum of Statesboro and Koiki Miyagi of Johns Creek tied for fourth at 4 over and Sophie Dinh of Buford and Hailey Jung of Johns Creek tied for sixth at 5 over.

Spector tied for third last year at Cartersville Country Club.

“It feels a lot better,” she said. “It feels good not to come up short.”
