Cool looks, cool technology set Antigua golf shirts on a higher plane

The newest line of Antigua golf shirts will leave you drier on the course and looking good, regardless of where you’re wearing them.

Hint: These would make a great Father’s Day gift.

This spring Antigua introduced a new fabric to its golf collection. The Desert Dry Performance Cotton is offered in the Performance 72 (PRF-72) line.

The Desert Dry fabric features a specially developed moisture wicking that works regardless of the heat or humidity. This means you’ll be comfortable and dry, whether you’re playing at Old Union Golf Course in the mountains or at The Lakes at Laura Walker by the Okefenokee Swamp.

Antigua has many different lines in its current catalog that use the Desert Dry fabric.

Among my favorites are:

• Radar, a sporty line that has a solid color, with a contrasting rib shoulder inset and stripe side and sleeve insets. The white shirt has a purple sleeve and is a sharp looking addition to the rotation. It also comes in black and limestone.

• Reserve features a solid color, with contrasting stylish three-needle topstitch detail. The shirt is available is nine different colors, from red (dubbed ember) and blue (celestial) to black and white.

• The Command line is about stripes. The lines alternate between a gold color and a more understated color. The white shirt with graphite stripes is a more traditional selection, with the pistachio, chambray, purple haze and papaya all more demonstrative.

Be aware: When you wear this shirt, your friends will notice. Go ahead and learn to accept a compliment now so you’ll know how to react when your buddy says, “That’s a good looking shirt.”

These are good looking shirts. But they’re also practical and extend the Antigua reputation for creating some of the best golf shirts in the industry. By incorporating the new Desert Dry technology, Antigua has gotten more serious about delivering a product that can help golfers be more comfortable and still look stylish.

The Desert Dry technology will wick away the moisture and sweat that is a part of playing golf. This will reduce your body temperature during activity and feel comfortable longer. The new technology allows the shirt to dry quicker than other fabrics and minimizes how the fabric clings.
